I love being a father and grandfather. I have 10 children and 34 grandchildren, and they are the greatest joy in my life. I also come from a large family with 11 brothers and sisters, and we remain very close. Family has always been at the center of who I am. Over the years, I have had opportunities to travel throughout the world and serve in many wards, branches, and missions. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures, and I find great fulfillment in serving others. I especially love serving in the temple and strengthening my faith through that work. I lost my wife, who was my partner in adventure and in life. That experience changed me. While some adventures are not quite the same alone, it has also helped me appreciate even more the relationships, experiences, and opportunities the Lord gives us each day. I still love discovering new places, meeting new people, and sharing those experiences with others. If I had to summarize what matters most to me, it would be faith, family, service, and adventure.

I love adventure, travel, the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Some of my favorite moments are spent at my cabin, where family and friends gather to relax, explore, and make memories together. After all the places I have traveled and experiences I have had, there is still nothing quite like holding one of my grandchildren.
